Rashad Ahmed is a Financial Economist in the Market Risk Analysis Division within Supervision Risk & Analysis at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
Dr. Ahmed joined the OCC in 2021. He earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Southern California, an M.S. in Statistics from the University of Chicago, a B.S. in Finance from Drexel University. Previously he worked at the CME Group as a senior analyst.
Dr. Ahmed’s research interests include macro-finance, monetary policy, and the effects of financial and commodity volatility, and his research can be found here.
