This one-day workshop will allow directors to interact with senior OCC staff
experienced in the compliance area through a combination of lectures,
discussions and exercises. The workshop is intended to aid directors in
evaluating, identifying, and increasing the quality of the compliance risk
management process. In addition, hear about common OCC examination findings
related to compliance risk and learn about recent regulatory changes and the
OCC's supervision processes; understand the pros/cons of outsourcing vs.
in-house programs; gain a basic understanding of the CRA; review current
compliance "hot topics"; and understand where the compliance management program
fits within the bank's larger risk assessment system.
This workshop is geared primarily to outside directors of national community
banks with assets of less than $1B. However, management directors may also find
the workshop beneficial.
Each workshop is limited to 50 persons. The price of attendance is $65. This
price includes: a pre-course reading package; course materials; reception;
continental breakfast; lunch; and a CD of the OCC's popular "Bank Secrecy Act"
telephone seminar.
The brochure provides additional information on
the workshop as well as registration information. You may register via phone,
mail, fax or
online.
If you have any question on the workshop, please call 336-644-8914 for more
details.
