Director of Industry and Regional Analysis Division
Richard Nisenson is the Director of Industry and Regional Analysis Division for the Economic and Policy Analysis Department of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
Mr. Nisenson supervises a team of economists and financial analysts that monitor residential and commercial real estate, industry and regional trends and assesses the potential impact on bank and financial market performance. He has also supervised multi-disciplined teams of analysts analyzing risk and performance issues for the U.S. Banking System as whole, and for community banks specifically.
Prior to coming to the OCC in 1988, Mr. Nisenson was an Instructor of Economics at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts and a Teaching Fellow in Economics at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He holds an M.A. in economics from Brown University and a B.A. in economics from Michigan State University.
