OCC Workshops for National Community Bank Directors
REGISTRATION OPEN!!!
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is pleased to announce the 2010 workshop schedule for national community bank directors.
The OCC is offering 25 workshops at 13 convenient locations to help meet the educational needs of national community bank directors. The majority of the workshops are offered on consecutive days for those directors who prefer to take advantage of two or more workshops at one location. Workshop enrollment is limited to 35 participants to optimize the opportunity for participant interaction with our instructors, who are seasoned national bank examiners.
These workshops are geared to outside directors, however, management directors may also benefit from attendance. They are a great opportunity for directors to gain familiarity with major risks in commercial banking and enhance their understanding of industry trends and hot topics. Many boards take advantage of the opportunity to attend the workshops as a group and meet the following day to discuss lessons learned and to develop action plans.
