Cheryl F. Davis
Deputy Comptroller
Continuing Education
Cheryl Davis has served as the Deputy Comptroller for Continuing Education in the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), since May 2003.
In this role, Ms. Davis is responsible for the OCC’s employee development and training programs and for implementing such programs to ensure that
the workforce has the knowledge, skills, and abilities to achieve agency goals and objectives. She is also a member of the Federal Financial Institution
Examination’s Council Examiner Education task force.
Prior to this position, Ms. Davis was Director for the Supervisory Information Division with responsibility for bank supervision systems and
information support for OCC management and staff.
Ms. Davis’ other duties since joining the OCC in June 1973 as a Financial Intern in Chicago, Illinois include internship in the OCC’s Management
Intern Program, Associate Director in the Information Technology Division, and analyst positions in the Large Bank Supervision Department.
Ms. Davis holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting and an MBA in business management from Roosevelt University in Chicago. She is also a
graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Madison, Wisconsin.
