MAJOR DUTIES: Provides administrative and technical support to the assigned organization. Manages the work flow for the office by prioritizing projects and establishing standard operation procedures. Maintains staff schedules, and prepares a variety of correspondence, charts, and other documents. Ensures all office equipment is in working order. Maintains adequate levels of office supplies; serves as primary timekeeper. Processes Reports of Examination. Maintains tickler and tracking files for a wide variety of issues. Tracks and maintains schedules of assignments and documents time spent in various categories. Maintains, updates, and purges confidential personnel files. Uses computers, various types of software, and automated systems to perform a variety of administrative duties. Creates, maintains, and updates computer-based records and verifies accuracy of data contained in the records. Uses a variety of software to create, edit and print reports, spreadsheets, graphic presentations, and a variety of correspondence. Ensures proper format, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and compliance with agency policies and procedures. Serves as liaison between managers, field office, team, and MIS staffs for administrative reports and/or issues and with meeting facility personnel. Arranges meetings for internal and external groups, inspects potential meeting sites, and finalizes details with vendors. Communicates and coordinates with bankers any special information requests. Coordinates and administers recruiting and hiring initiatives, schedules interviews and tests, and drafts correspondence for manager's signature. Participates in task forces and with special projects. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: This position requires one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NB-II. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is evidenced by performing a variety of progressively responsible administrative and/or clerical duties such as composing correspondence; entering data into automated systems, e.g., databases, and extracting reports; and establishing and maintaining office files.
