OCC Named One of the Top Places to Start a Career

WASHINGTON – The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency was named one of the 50 best places in America to start a career by Business Week magazine.

“The Business Week ranking confirms what we’ve long known: that the OCC is a great place to start – and build – a career,” said Comptroller of the Currency John C. Dugan.

The OCC ranked 48th on Business Week’s list of top employers for new college graduates.

The Comptroller said that attracting and retaining high-quality people is one of his top priorities.

“We supervise banks with nearly $6.5 trillion in assets, including the largest and most sophisticated financial institutions in the world, and it is imperative that we continue to hire the best and the brightest college graduates – and keep them,” he said.  “The Business Week ranking reaffirms how much we have to offer America’s top college graduates.”
