Marilyn Jacob is a Senior Financial Economist in the Compliance Risk Analysis Division within Economics at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

Dr. Jacob joined the OCC in 2006. She has been involved in several policy projects, including refining the method used to identify smaller institutions that potentially have a higher risk of discrimination in mortgage lending. Her current research interests include evaluating differences in outcomes across groups in the mortgage market. She completed her Ph.D. in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2006 and her master’s degree from the Delhi School of Economics, India.
