Pennsylvania State Small Business Credit Initiative: How It’s Working and How You can Participate

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation are sponsoring a webinar on May 18, 2023. The webinar will feature presentations by representatives from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the PA CDFI Network (Pennsylvania Community Development Financial Institution Network), and two CDFIs active in the state. Presenters will describe how the Pennsylvania Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) program funds were distributed, how CDFIs and other nonprofit organizations identify and provide services and loans to clients, and how participating organizations can make referrals, or form partnerships, to serve Pennsylvania's small businesses. An OCC representative will discuss how bank activities related to SSBCIs are treated under the Community Reinvestment Act.
