Strategies to Expand Capital Access to Minority Small Businesses

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) are sponsoring a webinar on September 16, 2021. The webinar will highlight the specific credit and technical assistance needs of minority small businesses. Speakers will discuss strategies that traditional financial institutions can use to help meet the credit needs of this market directly and indirectly, for example, through mission-driven intermediaries. The OCC and the FDIC representatives will also share relevant regulatory updates. The webinar’s target audience is financial institutions, community development financial institutions, nonprofit organizations, other community-based organizations, and state and local government.
