The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation are sponsoring a community development roundtable in Aurora, Ill., on August 23, 2023. This in-person event will provide background on the Community Reinvestment Act, small business, and community development lending. Presenters will discuss the Aurora’s Comprehensive Plan 2020-2024, which seeks to engender sustainable economic activity by fostering small and local business development. The roundtable will feature two panel discussions on identifying Aurora’s small business lending needs and small business financing options. This event is of interest to all stakeholders engaged in small business lending. Stakeholders include banks, community development financial institutions, loan funds, micro-lenders, philanthropic organizations, and government agencies. Register here.
