Federal Resources for Small Business

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) are cosponsoring a webinar on August 27, 2020. The webinar will provide a platform for federal agencies to discuss resources available for small businesses, including resources specific to small businesses in rural areas. The COVID-19 crisis has presented serious challenges to small businesses’ ability to access capital. The OCC will discuss bank activities with small businesses that qualify for Community Reinvestment Act considerations. The FDIC will provide an overview of the FDIC’s small business lending resources. The webinar is targeted to financial institutions, entrepreneurs, and small businesses in the Kansas City metropolitan area and broader area. Register here. For more information on registration, please contact Community Affairs Officer Mike Nield with the OCC.
