Ben Rudolph

Ben Rudolph is the Acting Senior Deputy Comptroller for Regional and Midsize Financial Institutions for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

In this role, Mr. Rudolph oversees the supervision of national banks and federal savings associations between $30 billion and $500 billion in assets. He also serves as a member of the agency’s Executive Committee. Mr. Rudolph assumed these duties in December 2025.

Prior to this role, Mr. Rudolph served as the Examiner-in-Charge of BMO Bank in the Large and Global Financial Institutions portfolio. Previously, he served as the Associate Deputy Comptroller for Risk, Resources and Examiner Development (RRED) where he served as an expert advisor to the Deputy Comptroller for RRED and provided expert direction for Midsize and Community Bank risk assessment efforts as well as supervision support through resource management and financial analysis.

Mr. Rudolph also has served as a key advisor to the Senior Deputy Comptroller for Midsize and Community Bank Supervision where he represented leadership with bank supervision managers, staff, and with other OCC departments. Previously, he oversaw the field offices as an Associate Deputy Comptroller in the Western District and managed the supervision of a portfolio of regulated institutions as Assistant Deputy Comptroller in the Minneapolis field office. He is active in the OCC’s leadership development initiatives, mentors new managers and emerging leaders, and serves as an instructor for internal training and the OCC’s Bank Director Workshops.

Mr. Rudolph graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn., with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a minor in computer science.
