Local Presence, National Perspective

The OCC maintains a presence in locations across the country as follows:

Community Banks oversees the supervision of banks with assets up to $30 billion across the United States.

The OCC maintains a continuous, on-site presence at the largest financial institutions with assets over $500 billion and those institutions that have a foreign parent.

These institutions are overseen by a portfolio manager or an on-site Examiner-in-Charge who provides effective continuous supervision.
