Michael Moriarty is an Associate Deputy Comptroller for the Northeast Region at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
In this role, Mr. Moriarty serves as an expert advisor to the Deputy Comptroller for Community Bank Supervision on all financial institution matters and provides executive direction for Midsize and Community Bank Supervision operations including bank and thrift supervision, and personnel management.
Prior to the Associate Deputy Comptroller role, Mr. Moriarty served as the Associate Deputy Comptroller for the Northeastern District. He has also served in various leadership roles in Midsize and Community Bank Supervision, including Assistant Deputy Comptroller in the Boston Field Office with supervisory responsibility for federal thrifts and national banks located in New England.
Mr. Moriarty holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from The George Washington University and a master’s degree in finance from Boston College.
