PRIDE promotes recognition and respect for diversity to create a work place environment that values all employees, regardless of sexual orientation by:
- Conducting diversity programs and activities to educate OCC employees about gay and lesbian employee issues and concerns,
- Serving as a resource to management to identify and amend OCC policies and practices that disadvantage gay and lesbian employees,
- Encouraging management to publicly uphold OCC policies and practices that support gay and lesbian employees, and
- Sponsoring programs and activities that would address issues affecting gay and lesbian employees.
