The OCC may provide reasonable accommodation for a qualified applicant on the basis of a disability. You can request reasonable accommodation orally or in writing.
If you make an oral request, follow up and confirm by completing the Request for Reasonable Accommodation Form (PDF). You can submit your request at any time during the application and hiring process to any of the following as appropriate:
You may designate another person to communicate an accommodation request on your behalf. For disabilities that are not obvious or otherwise apparent, you may be required to provide sufficient medical documentation, such as a statement signed by a medical professional or disability certifying agency.
OCC considers requests for reasonable accommodation on a case-by-case basis in the shortest time frame practicable. The agency is not required to provide the specific accommodation you identify but will make every effort to provide the most effective accommodation to enable you to apply for a job or perform essential job functions if hired.
