Arianne C. Minks is the Acting Chief of Staff and Senior Deputy Comptroller at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
In this role, Ms. Minks is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the OCC front office, overseeing the agency’s public and legislative affairs, and providing direct support to the Comptroller. She plays a key role in advising and coordinating policy and operations within the OCC, with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, on an interagency basis, and with the Administration, and works to shape and execute the overall strategic direction and operations of the agency. She assumed this role in May of 2026.
Prior to this position, she served as the Deputy Chief of Staff.
Prior to joining the OCC, Ms. Minks was in private practice at a major law firm where she advised public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, venture financings, and SEC compliance. She has experience in both the private and public sectors including the U.S. Department of the Treasury where she served as a Special Assistant in the Office of the Secretary and as Special Assistant to the General Counsel.
Ms. Minks began her federal service in the U.S. House of Representatives working for a Texas Congressman. Ms. Minks holds a bachelor’s degree (magna cum laude) in Business Honors with a Certificate in International Business from Texas A&M University and a law degree from Harvard Law School.
