Jennifer Crosthwaite is the Acting Senior Deputy Comptroller for Large and Global Financial Institutions (LGFI) at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
In this position, Ms. Crosthwaite directs the supervision of the country’s OCC-regulated institutions with assets of over $500 billion and those institutions that have a foreign parent. She also serves as a member of the agency’s Executive Committee. Prior to this assignment, Ms. Crosthwaite served as an Acting Deputy Comptroller in LGFI.
Ms. Crosthwaite joined the OCC in 1984 and received her National Bank Examiner designation in 1988. Throughout her career at the OCC, Ms. Crosthwaite has made important contributions across the agency’s Community Bank, Regional and Midsize Financial Institutions, and LGFI Institution lines of business. She has served as Examiner-in-Charge, Capital Markets Team Lead and Enterprise Risk Management Team Lead for some of the largest institutions the OCC supervises. Ms. Crosthwaite was named a Senior National Bank Examiner in October 2025.
Ms. Crosthwaite holds a bachelor’s degree in math from Occidental College and earned an MBA from Pepperdine University.
