Comment Period Re-Opened Regarding Capital One Proposed Purchase of HSBC Credit Card Portfolio
WASHINGTON — The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency is re-opening the comment period related to the Bank Merger Act application filed by Capital One, National Association, McLean, Virginia and Capital One Bank (USA), National Association, Glen Allen, Virginia to acquire through a purchase and assumption the credit card portfolio of HSBC Bank Nevada, National Association, Las Vegas, Nevada.
The OCC will accept public comments through December 19, 2011. Comments can be submitted by email to OCCPublicCommentsMailbox@occ.treas.gov or by fax to 202-874-5665.
